There is great focus in the West on healing the physical body. Medical insurance often only covers the treatment of psychological conditions if performed by a psychiatrist: a medical doctor specializing in the brain, and often resorting to surgery, drugs, or other physical interventions.
Since human beings are made of four parts: spiritual, emotional, intellectual, as well as physical, true health is only possible when the needs of all parts are taken into consideration. It is being increasingly widely accepted that our physical reality is a reflection of our more subtle, and in many ways true, realities; it follows that spiritual, emotional, and intellectual healing or integration can, and often does, lead to physical healing, sometimes of diseases which were considered incurable by western medicine.
Many forms of disease (dis-ease) result in financial disability; this is sometimes because of physical disability but more commonly due to other conditions such as belief that money is evil or that the sufferer does not deserve to be wealthy. Since such people are unable to afford the kind of treatments which would enable them to break free of these limiting patterns of thinking, they often find themselves stuck in a catch-twenty-two situation.
Even when a person has very little by way financial resources and even when they have limited belief in themselves, faith, even as small as a mustard seed, will bring them what they need. Faith: a belief that a certain outcome will be provided from the Infinite Storehouse of Abundance, and a choice to receive that outcome.
Love Lives Here Now is part of the manifestation of the heart's yearning for wholeness and of the soul's knowledge of unity; its purpose is to provide grants to enable people of limited means to receive and be healed by techniques and practices, and to take part in and experience events, which would otherwise be inaccessible to them. The intention is to enable those people to heal so that they can live satisfying and abundant lives, both financially and otherwise.
Love Lives Here Now was the conception of Duncan Riach in July 2006. Based upon his own experience of inner turmoil, and of inner peace, he believes that should a large proportion of the earth's population find inner peace then all wars, starvation, epidemics, and pollution would end. This is the larger purpose which Love Lives Here Now will contribute to.
Duncan himself has participated in, and benefitted greatly from, all of these treatments.
